Sebastian Reich is a regulatory technology expert specialising in AI-driven compliance automation. With a strong background in economics and investment, he has built proprietary AI models that simplify and streamline regulatory processes, particularly in ESG and financial compliance.
Before co-founding Verdea, Sebastian held investment and compliance-focused roles at Deutsche Bank and Aluna Partners. His expertise lies in developing and implementing AI-powered compliance frameworks, with a focus on regulatory mandates such as CSRD, AIFMD, and NIS2.
Sebastian has conducted compliance assessments and risk mitigation strategies across Austria, Germany, Sweden, and the UK, working with businesses facing regulatory scrutiny from European authorities. Through the development of AI-driven compliance tools, he has significantly reduced the time and financial burden of regulatory reporting, helping companies to simplify processes, mitigate risks, and adapt to the evolving regulations.
